Opening day with screening of "Golda," an Israeli documentary about the former prime minister Golda Meir. Followed by a 5 p.m. reception with Israeli nature photographer Amos Nachoum and filmmaker Dani Menkin, with a screening of "Picture of his Life" at 6 p.m.  "Aulcie," a documentary about basketball legend Aulcie Perry, screens at 8:30 p.m. Through Feb. 23 except Friday 2/21. "Love in Suspenders," a rom-com about an Israeli widow in her 70s who meets a similarly aged man in a car crash, at 2 p.m.  "Carl Laemmle," about the young German immigrant who shaped Hollywood, at 5:30 p.m. "Tel Aviv on Fire," a satirical comedy dealing with Palestinian/Israeli tensions and imbalances screens at 8:10 p.m. All movies are preceded by short films. Screening of "Ask Dr. Ruth," about a Holocaust survivor who became one of America’s most famous sex therapists at 7 p.m. Joel Westheimer, Ruth’s son, will introduce the film and lead a post-film discussion. At 10:15 p.m. "Leona" is a drama about a young woman from an Orthodox Jewish community in Mexico City who finds herself torn between her family and a forbidden love.
