The Israeli Cultural Connection (ICC) is a hub for the Israeli community within the OFJCC, providing opportunities to connect to Israeli identity, celebrate Israeli culture and explore what it means to be an Israeli Jew living outside Israel. Activities, offered in Hebrew and/or English, include lectures by well-known speakers from Israel, Israeli movie nights, social gatherings, holiday events, family programs, children’s activities and more. The ICC also runs the Beged Kefet Hebrew School, a Hebrew language afterschool program for students in preschool through high school. Through Israeli arts, music, lectures, celebrations and cultural events, the ICC gives the local Israeli and American Jewish communities the opportunity to deepen their ties to Israel – and to each other.
