A friendly spiritual home for people from a wide range of backgrounds and observance levels who want to experience and observe Judaism in ways that are relevant and meaningful to their lives. Programs are mainly in the San Geronimo Valley and Fairfax. A small size means people are closely connected as they explore what it is to be Jewish in America: culturally, ethically and spiritually.
The congregation is unaffiliated and post-denominational, with members from diverse religious backgrounds throughout the world. Monthly rabbi led or lay-led Shabbat services as well as holiday celebrations, Jewish education and activities throughout the year, including a Jewish American Fiction Book Club with the Fairfax Library, participation in the Marin Interfaith Council and social justice work in the Marin Organizing Committee. A diverse community made up of families with children, single parents, couples and single adults of all ages. Generally meets at the San Geronimo Valley Community Center at 6350 Sir Francis Drake Blvd. in central/west Marin County.
