San Francisco Campus for Jewish Living (formerly the Jewish Home) opened in 1871 and serves older adults of all income levels on a 9-acre campus, including some 1,800 residents and clients seeking short-term care and those in need of acute psychiatric care. Residents enjoy an array of social activities and Judaica classes, with a rabbi on staff. A major expansion, scheduled for completion soon, will feature assisted-living apartments.
