An audio webinar on the impact of the North Bay wildfires and the Jewish community’s collective response has been set for Friday, Oct. 20 at 10 a.m. Speakers will offer an assessment of current and potential future needs, as well as an overview of resources and support available through the Jewish community to aid fire victims.
The webinar is sponsored by the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation and the Jewish Federation of the East Bay.
Speakers include Rabbi Stephanie Kramer, associate rabbi at Congregation Shomrei Torah in Santa Rosa; Yotam Polizer, co-CEO of IsraAID; Nancy Masters, associate executive director of Jewish Family and Children’s Services; and Lt. Col. Chris Angle, commander of the 579th Engineer Battalion of the Army National Guard, and a Shomrei Torah congregant. S.F. Federation CEO Danny Grossman and Jewish Federation of the East Bay CEO James Brandt will host.
