The Young Adult Division of the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation has an-nounced the next installment of its F3SF dinner series for young adults, with Dec. 11 gatherings at several San Francisco restaurants.
The “F3” portion of the every-other-month program, which launched in January, stands for Food, Friends and Federation. Between 50 and 100 people have turned out for previous nights of the program; dinners for eight to 12 people have been held at restaurants such as Lulu, Fang, Radish, Dosa, Regalito and Luna Park.
The next round of dinners will be at restaurants in the Hayes Valley area. Each time, a different neighborhood is chosen so participants can come together for post-dinner drinks at a nearby watering hole.
At the dinners, attendees expand their social networks and connect with fellow Jews. A recent F3SF dinner included a drive to aid the homelessness nonprofit North Beach Citizens by collecting gift bags filled with soaps, toothbrushes and other toiletries.
