The Jewish Bulletin is Northern California's only weekly Jewish newspaper.
It is published every Friday except for the first week in July and the last
week of December.
The newspaper was founded in 1946 as a successor to the Emanuel, which had
served Bay Area Jews for 50 years before being merged into the Bulletin. In
1996 the Jewish Bulletin will be celebrating 100 years of Jewish
journalism.
The Jewish Bulletin is an independent publication owned by the local Jewish
community. The editor and publisher, Marc S. Klein, is responsible to a
community-appointed board of directors.
The Bulletin's editorial coverage includes local, national and
international news, as well as analysis of trends in the community which
affect Jews.
