Steven Feuer will bring Shirt-Pocket Pies to the market

And food for all

It’s a natural fit: The Bay Area has an appetite for sustainability, ethical food practices and mindful eating, and the inaugural Hazon Jewish Food Festival will provide healthy servings of all three. A shuk, offering foods to try and buy, will be free and open to the public all day. In addition, those who pay a registration fee can choose from more than 40 sessions on food justice, sustainability, Jewish text and tradition — and more. Regardless of your food interests, there should be plenty to chew on.
