Mumbai’s Jewish community marked the fourth anniversary of the attack on the Chabad House that killed six, including the Chabad emissary couple in the Indian city.

Among those on hand for the Nov. 26 ceremony was Israel’s consul general in Mumbai, Orna Sagiv, who was in Mumbai at the time of the 2008 massacre. Members of a Pakistan-based terror group attacked several sites in the city, including luxury hotels, a train station and a popular cafe. More than 170 people were killed in the attacks.

The emissaries, Rabbi Gavriel and Rivkah Holtzberg, were slain in the attacks, but their 2-year-old son survived.

The lone surviving gunman, Pakistan national Mohammad Ajmal Kasab, was secretly executed in Mumbai on Nov. 21. — jta
