President Barack Obama will commemorate the Holocaust at the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum in Washington.

Obama will speak at the museum on Monday, April 23.

“He will give remarks commemorating the Holocaust and discuss how the United States is honoring the pledge of ‘Never again’ by developing a comprehensive strategy to prevent and respond to mass atrocities,” said a White House statement.

Holocaust Remembrance Day, or Yom HaShoah, was marked this year on April 19. — jta
