Fifty people, including Miles (left) and Leo Kessler, participated in a Tu B’Shevat planting event Feb. 5 in San Francisco’s Buena Vista Park. Hosted and organized by Chabad of Cole Valley, led by Rabbi Nosson Potash, the event included two hours of weeding and planting, a picnic and a discussion of the holiday also known as New Year of the Trees.
