Israel’s air force attacked terrorist sites in the Gaza Strip, hitting targets Jan. 24 that included a weapons manufacturing site in central Gaza and three tunnels, according to the Israel Defense Forces.
The attacks were in response to several rockets fired at southern Israeli communities, the IDF said. Six rockets were fired into southern Israel from Gaza in the previous week.
Two Palestinians were injured in the attacks, the Ma’an Palestinian news agency reported. — jta
