Morton David Klein on May 28, 2009 at age 82. Beloved husband of Sara (Sybel) Klein, brother-in-law of: Rachel (Raesal), Marvin (Miriam), Fred (Ann) Schalit; brother of late sister Shirley (Abe) Loeb and devoted uncle to his many nieces, nephews and their children.

Funeral services were held at Chapel Eternal Home Cemetery on June 1, 2009. Contributions to Adath Israel and Richmond Torah Center.


Kerin Erica Lieberman in Greenbrae on June 9, 2009 at age 64. Beloved wife of the late Eugene Lieberman; loving mother of Moxie (Melysa) and Rachel J. Lieberman; mother-in-law of Paul Palinkas; godmother of Shira and Talia Reich; dear sister, loving aunt; best friend of Murray Lieberman.

Kerin was the Associate Director and administrative backbone of the S.F. Bureau of Jewish Education for 34 years. She was a warm and passionate friend and a tough cookie. Kerin never forgot the birthdays of all the people she loved.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, June 12 at Mt. Tamalpais (Kol Shalom) Cemetery, San Rafael. Contributions to Congregation Kol Shofar, P.O. Box 970, Mill Valley, CA 94942 or to the BJE Community Library, 1835 Ellis St., San Francisco, CA 94115, preferred. Sinai Memorial Chapel.


Ignatz Zolowicz, of Danville, on June 7, 2009 at 84 years of age.

A native of Warsaw, Poland, and a concentration camp survivor, he was a proud business owner of Village Delicatessen for 15 years and salesman with Gallo Wines for 20 years. He was a member of Mason Starr King Lodge, No. 344, a devoted husband, outstanding father, and friend to many.

Survived by his wife of 63 years, Rachela; sons Jack Zolowicz, and David Zolowicz; grandchildren Jonathan and Nathan, Zachery and Zoie; daughter in-law Melinda Zolowicz, sisters-in-law Golda Berlinski and Rivka Spiegel; and loving niece Rosie Spiegel and loving nephew Mark Spiegel. He was predeceased by a brother, Lolek Zolowicz, and a daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Zolowicz.

Funeral services were held under the direction of Sinai Memorial Chapel.
