Congregation Emanu-El rabbi receives national 2002 Covenant Award

Rabbi Peretz Wolf-Prusan of San Francisco’s Congregation Emanu-El is a recipient of the New York-based Covenant Foundation’s 200

Award winners will be honored in November at a ceremony and luncheon at the General Assembly of the United Jewish Communities in Philadelphia.

Wolf-Prusan, a Whizin Institute consultant and founding member of the Commission on Lifelong Learning of the Union of American Hebrew Congregations, directs youth and family education programs at Emanu-El.

He has served as a rabbi at the synagogue for more than 10 years.
