He died trying to protect his girlfriend during an attempted robbery.</p> <p>Robinson was born in Jamaica and enjoyed telling people about his spiritual journey to Judaism and recent conversion.</p> <p>More than 100 Orthodox and Chassidic Jews gathered outside the store to pay their respects, according to CBS News. <em>— jta</em></p>
