She said her actions were “thoughtless” but insisted she did not humiliate the detainees and was surprised the pictures were viewed as offensive.</p> <p>In one photo, she sits beside a blindfolded Palestinian man. Another shows her smiling in front of three handcuffed and blindfolded Palestinian men. An Israeli military spokesman called the pictures “shameless.” <em>— ap</em></p>
