The annual Israel in the Gardens returns to San Francisco’s Yerba Buena Gardens from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 6. An estimated 20,000 people are expected to attend the event, which is organized by the Israel Center of the S.F.-based Jewish Community Federation.
The theme, “Israel in Our Lives,” will emphasize the strong connection between Israel and the Bay Area using ample activities, performances and social opportunities to drive the message home.
From the lineup of singers, speakers and other entertainers on the main stage to the myriad booths representing local Jewish and Israeli agencies, this year’s Israel in the Gardens offers plenty of opportunities to mix, mingle and, let’s not forget, munch in celebration of the Holy Land.
Yerba Buena Gardens is located at Mission and Third streets. More information: www.sfjcf.org/gardens/2010.
