Rabins sings from the perspective of forgotten females from the Midrash.</p> <p>Album drops: August or September (Jdub)</p> <p>The website: <a href="http://www.myspace.com/girlsintroublemusic" target="_blank">www.myspace.com/girlsintroublemusic</a></p> <p> </p> <p><img alt="adam_goldberg_288" height="278" src="http://www.jweekly.com/images/uploads/blog_art/0609/adam_goldberg_288.jpg" title="adam_goldberg_288" width="288" /></p> <p>2) <strong>LANDy</strong></p> <p>Key Jewish player: actor/director/musician Adam Goldberg, guitar-playing crooner</p> <p>Location: Los Angeles</p> <p>The gist: While the songs aren't Jewish-themed, its bearded front man has become Hollywood's go-to Jew. It probably didn't hurt that he starred as Jewish superhero The Hebrew Hammer, but I digress. The band, which includes the Flaming Lips' Steven Drozd and Earlimart's Aaron Espinoza, play dreamy indie pop that will melt your bitter heart.</p> <p>Album drops: June 23</p> <p>The website: <a href="http://www.myspace.com/landytheband" target="_blank">www.myspace.com/landytheband</a></p>
