So like, Sabbath mode overrides the auto-shutoff for ovens (to allow food to stay warm at a low temperature all day) and disables the light in a refrigerator that goes on when you open the door. Some ovens even allow you to change the temperature (on Yom Tov) via a keypad that has a delay before the change is made.</p> <p>I'm still a little skeptical of all these "workarounds" that allow people to do stuff on Shabbat that they really shouldn't do...but I'm not shomer Shabbos, so who am I to judge?</p>
