Planning a brit milah is just one more thing to think about.<br /><br /> Enter the Bris Kit, brainchild of Los Angeles resident Tristen Sullivan, who has two boys. <br /><br /> After she gave birth to her first son, Sullivan realized how hard it was to get things organized for the brit milah.<br /><br /> “With all the things a parent is going through after giving birth, the last thing he or she wants to do is worry about going out to buy Neosporin or Baby Tylenol,” says Sullivan. “So I created a kit with all the essentials that baby — and parents — will need for a bris ceremony and circumcision aftercare.”<br /><br /> There are three versions of the Bris Kit: Silver, Gold and Platinum.<br /><br /> The Platinum version includes: Baby Tylenol, Neosporin Plus Pain Relief, Vaseline, 20 sterile gauze pads, a suede baby kippah with strings, a Kiddush cup, a mezuzah, a burp cloth embroidered with the Hebrew blessing “May God make him like Ephraim & Menashah” and a gown with a blessing silkscreened in Hebrew and English that reads: “As he has entered into the covenant of Abraham, so may he enter into the study of Torah, the blessing of Marriage, and the practice of Goodness.”<br /><br /> The Platinum version retails for $130. The Gold kit, which includes everything but the Kiddush cup and mezuzah, retails for $90, and the Silver kit comes with the medical supplies and gown and retails for $50. <br /><br /> A portion of the proceeds benefit the summer camps sponsored by Wilshire Boulevard Temple, a Reform congregation in Malibu.
