Israel’s ‘DWTS’ to feature same-sex couple

I've never watched an episode of ABC's "Dancing with the Stars." I know, I'm that girl.

Don't be so quick to judge, though. I am definitely intrigued (not to mention mildly entertained) by the celebrities plucked to partner with the pros — case in point David Hasselhoff, Michael Bolton and Bristol Palin.

You just can't beat it.

Israel's version of "DWTS," whose season begins Nov. 1, will feature a same-sex couple for the first time, with two women taking turns with the traditional male lead. The BBC goes into more detail here.

I doubt I'll be able to watch the pair (Israeli tv presenter Gil Shem Tov and professional dancer Dorit Milman) perform, but they've got a round of applause from me.
