Al Pacino is the new Phil Spector

Actor Al Pacino will again play it Jewish – this time as legendary songwriter/producer/wacko Phil Spector.

Spector was once known for his famous “wall of sound” production technique and work with girl groups like the Ronettes, but sadly, is now remembered for violence against women and some seriously crazy hair.

Pacino previously played another controversial and unlikable Jewish character —“Shylock” in "The Merchant of Venice." According to the Hollywood Reporter, Pacino will portray Spector in an upcoming biopic for HBO. Jewish playwright David Mamet will write the script.
