Jewish Deadheads rejoice. The SF Giant’s Jerry Garcia Tribute Night takes place Monday, Aug. 9. The Giants play the Chicago Cubs at At&T Park. Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh will perform the National Anthem.

An added bonus: there’s a tailgate party from 4 to 6 p.m. in Lot D.

The Rally Rabbi’s Jerry Tribute tailgate party will include free kosher barbecue, He’brew Beer, and live music courtesy of the Saul Kaye band. The Rally Rabbi (a.k.a Rabbi Yosef Langer) will also be wrapping tefillin and leading prayers.

For tickets, call (415) 972-2298. Game attendees receive a free Jerry Garcia bobblehead with ticket purchase. Play on.
