While I hate the band’s punctuation choices, I love the music — spiritual heavy rock band Can!!Can will drop its album Monsters & Healers (Jdub) on iTunes/Amazon next Tuesday, July 6.

The energetic Can!!Can singer, Patrick Aleph, is the genius behind website PunkTorah — a podcast, advice column, Torah analysis and online community, all rolled into one shiny Jewish package.

Aleph met fellow Can!!Can members Mary Collins and Josh Lamar through the Atlanta music scene and released All Hell last year. The new LP, Monsters & Healers features plucky songs like “God Lives in NYC” and “Devil in the Night Sky.”

The band has no set Bay Area tour dates as of now, but maybe if we ask real politely? Dear Can!! Can: Come to SF! I promise I won’t complain about your band name anymore.
