The ever-inventive, inimitable Amy X Neuburg will participate in a summer solstice celebration at Chapel of the Chimes this coming Monday, June 21.

Neuburg, an experimental Jewish Bay Area musician, will perform solo voice works with live electronics during Garden of Memory, a yearly solstice event. The concert is a walk-through performance, at which attendees can meander by dozens of performers placed throughout a columbarium replete with gardens, fountains, and stained-glass skylights.

Sounds pretty trippy.

The gist:
Garden of Memory w/ Amy X Neuburg
Monday, June 21. 5-9 p.m.
Chapel of the Chimes Columbarium, 4499 Piedmont Ave., Oakland
