Lest we forget how lucky we are to reside in a living, breathing music scene replete with super-fun local party bands and a constant cycle of touring acts — The Noise Pop Festival is back!

And crisp, adorable songstress Mirah is one act I’m personally more than excited to catch live during said fest.

Originally from Philadelphia, Mirah Yom Tov Zeitlyn moved to Olympia and joined K Records in the 1990s.

The Jewish singer-songwriter has recently made the move to our fair city (San Francisco) and will perform with Thao Nguyen on Feb. 27 at the Swedish American Music Hall.

Between her sugary-sweet voice and delicate ukulele playing, hand clapping and story telling, Mirah’s show might be the happiest you have ever seen a crowd.
