The audio love child of Kenny G and Weezer

Kenny G (AKA the world's sexiest Jewish saxophonist) is back and collaborating with the oddest of compatriots - Weezer.

Kenny, born Kenneth Bruce Gorelick to a Seattle-based nice Jewish family, has been performing live love songs for the past 30 years, but this will be his first foray into the big, bad world of super poppy indie rock (is Weezer still considered indie rock?).

Last month Kenny appeared with the band to promote Weezer's new unfortunately-titled album Raditude and this week he was quoted in the Seattle Weekly discussing the bizarre audio love child:

"[Weezer] called me. The lead singer [Rivers Cuomo] or somebody in the band likes my music. That kind of stuff is the way of reinventing your brand, if you will. That's the kind of stuff that you have to do." He later adds, "They couldn't have been nicer to me. I felt like I was one of the guys."

He appears as a saxophone soloist on Weezer's song, "I'm Your Daddy"

Pretty cute stuff guys. And again, very unexpected.
