The legendary Leonard Cohen will perform in the Bay Area at 8 p.m. Nov. 13 at the HP Pavillion, San Jose. Tickets are available here. The 75-year-old Canadian-Jewish singer, poet and author also recently performed in Israel during his current world tour. It was not his first visit to the country, he also performed for the Israeli troops during the 1973 Arab-Israeli war As most audiophiles can attest, Cohen's heart-wrenching lyrics and throaty voice have inspired generations of singer-songwriters. He often touches on universal themes such as social justice, heartbreak and religion. This year marks Cohen's first tour in more than 15 years.
