Soulico brings the party from Tel Aviv1:09 pm Monday, October 19, 2009by emily savage
Feeling the urge to shake your tush to a heart-pounding mix of dancehall, hip-hop, Middle Eastern and reggae music? Judb records DJ crew Soulico will play San Francisco on Nov. 1 at 330 Ritch. The Tel Aviv-based group creates remixes and mashups that feature old world tunes with modern beats. Soulico's debut album "Exotic on the Speaker" was released earlier this month and featured guest appearences by Ghostface Killah (Wu Tang!), Del the Funky Homosapien and Tomer Yosef (Balkan Beat Box), among others.
