Lunchtime speakers are scheduled at MJCC through January
The Marin Jewish Community Center presents its January schedule of Friday Shabbat luncheon speakers.
KGO weatherman Zak Berkowitz on Jan. 9 will give tips on preparing for an El Niño winter. On Jan. 16, Alan Jacobson, author of the new mystery thriller "False Accusations," will talk about his book. From the Marin County district attorney's office, David Ball will speak Jan. 23 on "Scams and Other Things to Be Wary of."
The Jan. 30 luncheon will feature a chair exercise class for seniors to improve circulation, range of motion and muscle endurance.
The $8 admission includes lunch, served at noon at the Marin Jewish Community Center, 200 North San Pedro Rd., San Rafael. All presentations begin between 12:30 and 1 p.m. Information: (415) 479-2000.
