‘Schmooze and Brews’ The second annual Jewish Cultural Festival promises to be a day of excellent music, food and fun in Aptos. Live music by a variety of artists, from klezmer to rock to jazz, will be happening all day. If you get hungry (and you will), chicken soup, matzah ball shots, deli food and other Jewish culinary favorites will be available. Kids will be entertained with crafts projects at the “Kinder Korner” while adults shmooze, shop at the shuk, listen to talks in the sanctuary or enjoy libations at the “bar” mitzvah station. 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, June 22 at Temple Beth El, 3055 Porter Gulch Road, Aptos. Israeli superstar David Broza is the big draw, with children’s rock band the Macaroons, yeshiva-boy punk rockers the Groggers and singer-songwriter Brian Joseph rounding out the musical entertainment.
