For her son's first Chanukah, Sandy Curtis wrote a song. The chorus goes:
I've got a nun, I've got a hay, I've got a shin
It's time for dreidel games now to begin.
Gelt jingles in our pockets
Our tummies full of latkes
So spin the top to see if I will win.
As her family grew, the chorus got stronger.
