9_Glifecyles_benBen Jeremy will become a bar mitzvah at Congregation Beth Sholom, San Francisco, on Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, with his family, Julie Jeremy (mother), India Jeremy (sister), Fred and Marlene Levinson (grandparents) along with his aunts, uncles and friends. Ben is in sixth grade at the Laurel School in San Francisco.

For Ben’s Bar Mitzvah, Hazzan Itzhak Zhrebker from Congregation Shearith Israel, Dallas, Texas, will be leading the service.

He has a full operatic voice and has mastered verismo and bel canto techniques. In addition to his beautiful singing voice, Hazzan Zhrebker is a conductor, an arranger and a composer. His vocal debuts have included songs in Hebrew, Yiddish, Russian, Italian, French and English. During his six years in Israel, Hazzan Zhrebker performed with the New Israeli Opera.
