The all-knowing librarian

David Strathairn, Oscar-nominated for his role as Edward R. Murrow in the film “Good Night, and Good Luck,” stars in the American Conservatory Theater production of “Underneath the Lintel.” The play by Glen Berger, based on the legend of the Wandering Jew, stars Strathairn as a librarian who goes on a quest to find out who returned a book more than 100 years overdue.
