Ellen Fuchs will talk on "The Mezzuzah a Symbol to Sanctify Your Home." She compiled a booklet, "The Mitzvah of Mezzuzah," used at a synagogue retreat last year and for a class she taught at the synagogue's religious school.

Dancing, havdallah set in San Leandro
Israeli folk dancing and havdallah will take place at 7 p.m. Saturdays, Nov. 1 and Dec. 6 at Temple Beth Sholom 642 Dolores St., San Leandro.
