In first person… 6-year-old’s constant questions about God keep all on their toes

In December of 1996, while visiting Alix and her family, her mom and I volunteered to be helpers in her first-grade class, during a creative writing session. Imagine my shock, when glancing over her shoulder, I noticed her writing the following composition (spelling and punctuation have been corrected, nothing else), about her impressions and thoughts about relationship with God.
I looked at my granddaughter with more than pride, with more than joy. I thought, "She knows at this tender age. She knows."
