East Bay women set for grand gathering on Grand Avenue

Kolot Nashim, or “voices of women,” is a Torah study session that will bring together women from throughout the East Bay to explore a wide range of religious and spiritual topics.
The sixth annual gathering is scheduled for 7 to 9:30 p.m. Monday, March 11 at Kehilla Community Synagogue,
1300 Grand Ave., Piedmont. More than 100 women from all streams of Judaism are expected to attend the event, which is held annually at different East Bay synagogues.
Workshop leaders include Miriam Ferris (Chabad of Berkeley), Rabbi Pam Frydman (co-chair of Rabbis for Women of the Wall), Rabbi Me’irah Illinsky (teacher and artist), Ma’ayan Rabinovich, (Merkavah Torah Institute), Ariela Ronay-Jinich (Wilderness Torah) and Rabbi Alissa Wise (Jewish Voice for Peace).
