JFCS East Bay plans workshops on aging

Jewish Family and Children’s Services of the East Bay will offer a series of free workshops for older adults and their adult children. Advance registration is required.

“Caring for a Parent Long Distance” is slated for 5:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 12, and “To Drive or Not to Drive?” will be 5:30 to 7 p.m. April 4. Both are at 2484 Shattuck Ave., Suite 201, Berkeley.

“Aging Without Children: Planning for the Future” will be held 5:30 to 7 p.m. March 21 at 1855 Olympic Blvd., Suite 200, Walnut Creek. “We did this workshop last year in Berkeley and had an incredible response,” noted Rob Tufel, director of adult services for JFCS East Bay.
