Nutritionist provides tips for an easy fast

by Break your Yom Kippur fast with a noncarbonated drink and a slice of bread or dry cake one hour before eating a full meal, sugge, He also suggests taking frequent drinks of water throughout the day before the fast, and warns against overeating on that day.

Berry says the last meal before the fast should include complex carbohydrates, such as pasta, rice, potatoes and whole-grain bread, to help prevent dehydration.

And he suggests making sure that meal is balanced.
