Let my people go

Twenty-five years ago, 250,000 people marched in Washington, D.C., to demand that the Soviet Union allow Jews to leave the country without restrictions. This unprecedented show of solidarity drew participants from all over the United States, including a 130-member delegation from San Francisco. An event at Congregation Sherith Israel will commemorate those involved with an evening of storytelling, music and hors-d’oeuvres.
