The column “With heavy heart, Holy Land owner says ‘lehitraot’ to kosher status” (Nov. 9) should have stated that the restaurant was under the supervision of the head rabbi at Beth Jacob Congregation in Oakland. Holy Land never had kosher certification from Sunrise Kosher, aka Vaad Hakashrus of Northern California.
