Israel amid turbulence

Middle East expert David Makovsky, who co-wrote the recent strategic report “Preventing an Iranian Nuclear Breakout” for the Washington Institute (where he is a fellow), will speak at Stanford on “Israel in a Turbulent Middle East.” He will draw on his extensive knowledge of the region as a former leading journalist for the Jerusalem Post and U.S. News & World Report, and co-author with Dennis Ross of “Myths, Illusions, & Peace: Finding a New Direction for America in the Middle East.”
