S.F. talks to focus on ‘future of work’

Marty Nemko and Marc Freedman — both Jewish, Bay Area–based, nationally known experts on careers — are among a lineup of speakers taking part this month in the Common-wealth Club series, “The Future of Work.”
Freedman, author of “The Big Shift” and CEO of the nonprofit Civic Ventures, will address “Baby Boomers Defer Retirement for ‘Encore Careers’ ” at 5:15 p.m. Aug. 21.
Both talks are preceded by a 30-minute “networking reception” and take place at the Common-wealth Club, 595 Market St., S.F. For a complete list of speakers in the series, go to http://www.commonwealthclub.org.
