Poetry and music at lunchtime Jewish Jamboree

Kugelplex will go outdoors for a free noontime performance in San Francisco.

A free poetry reading, along with live klezmer music, will mark Lines and Lyrics: Jewish Jamboree at 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 31. The hourlong event will take place at Jessie Square, in front of the Contemporary Jewish Museum, 736 Mission St., San Francisco.

Featured Bay Area poets are Matthew Siegel, Melissa Stein, Jacqueline Berger and Chana Bloch. Local klezmer band Kugelplex will play.

Jewish Jamboree is a co-presentation of the CJM, Litquake and Yerba Buena Gardens Festival. For more information visit http://www.ybgf.org.
