Actor pens Holocaust play

Jesse Eisenberg, who played Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg in “The Social Network” on the silver screen, is taking his talents off-Broadway with a Holocaust-themed play he has penned.

“The Revisionist,” scheduled to open at New York’s Cherry Lane Theater in 2013, will be about a science-fiction writer who travels to Poland and meets with a relative who survived the Holocaust and has a secret.

Eisenberg, now starring in Woody Allen’s new film, “To Rome With Love,” has not indicated whether he will appear in the play.— jta
