They will demonstrate how infrared flight equipment has been adapted to read ancient biblical manuscripts.

Events will take place at 7:30 p.m. Friday, 12:30 p.m. Saturday, and 10 a.m.

Widows, widowers to support each other in six-week group

Men and women who have lost their spouses will begin meeting in a six-week support group at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22 at Jewish Family and Children's Services, 490 El Camino Real, No. 200, Belmont.

Congregation Beth Am will install its cantor, Kay Greenwald, tonight

Cantor Kay Greenwald will be installed as Congregation Beth Am's cantor at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 19 at 26790 Arastradero Road, Los Altos Hills.

Guest speaker will be Rabbi Paula Winning of Temple Sinai in Lawrence, N.Y., who met Greenwald when she was a cantorial student at Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion, School of Sacred Music in Cincinnati.
