President Obama took time out from his schedule June 12 to gaze at the Dead Sea Scrolls on display at Philadelphia’s Franklin Institute. “Dead Sea Scrolls: Life and Faith in Ancient Times,” is a collection of ancient artifacts from Israel, including four scrolls from the Qumran caves that have never been on public display and the oldest known copies of the Hebrew Bible.
