San Francisco Shorts Jewish theater, film fest and museum get city funding

10 challenges talk booked at Emanu-El
Leonard Felder, author of "The Ten Challenges: Spiritual Lessons from the Ten Commandments for Creating Meaning, Growth and Richness Every Day of Your Life," will speak at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12 at Congregation Emanu-El, 2 Lake St., S.F.
According to the author -- who also is a psychologist -- synagogues, havurot and book groups around the country are using his book as a study guide. In addition to his Friday-night address, he will hold a three-hour workshop at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15. For information, call Emanu-El at (415) 751-2535.
