The Golden State Warriors have announced that their seventh annual Jewish Heritage Night is scheduled for Feb. 12 against the Houston Rockets. The game will tip off at 6 p.m. at Oracle Arena in Oakland, and this year’s giveaway item is a commemorative kippah.

The Warriors’ last two Jewish heritage games were against the Sacramento Kings, whose roster included Israeli star Omri Casspi. However, in the offseason, Casspi was traded to the Cleveland Cavaliers, who do not play in Oakland this season.

The Warriors are 3-3 in Jewish heritage games after losing 104-103 to Sacramento last year. That game was in the spring, and was preceded by a Chabad-hosted pregame tailgate party, but because of unpredictable winter weather, there will be no tailgate party this year. However, an Israeli dance troupe from Los Angeles will perform at halftime.

The Warriors are selling tickets to the game at a discount, with lower-level seats available for $48 or upper-level seats starting at $17. Other prices are available. Buyers will pay no taxes or fees when using this link: www.bit.ly/yf7bdq.

Groups of 15 or more are eligible for additional savings and benefits, such as courtside seats during warm-ups and getting their group name on the scoreboard. For more details, contact the Warriors at (510) 986-2260.
