Parents Place schedules S.F. classes for September
by Parents Place in San Francisco announces September classes, beginning with Parenting an Older Baby (6 to 12 months) at 10:30 a.m, Single Mothers, a support group for moms of kids under age 6, will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesdays, Sept. 16 through Nov. 4. Cost is $90

Parents/Toddlers, a discussion and play group for kids 13 to 24 months and their parents will meet at 3 p.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 17 through Nov. 12 with no meeting Oct. 1. Cost is $120 for eight sessions.
Parents and Preschoolers will take place at 10 a.m. Wednesdays, Sept. 17 through Nov. 5, and Fridays, Sept. 19 through Nov. 14 with no meeting Oct. 3. Cost is $120 for either eight-session class.
"Raising a Spirited Child" will meet at 7 p.m. Thursdays, Sept. 18 through Nov. 20 (no sessions Oct. 2 and 16). Cost is $90 for eight weeks.
The Dad's Connection will convene at 10:30 a.m. Saturdays, Sept. 20 through Nov. 15 (no meeting (Oct. 11). Cost is $90 for eight sessions.
Begin From Within For Concerned Mothers will focus on how to support daughters struggling with food, weight and body image issues at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 24. Cost is $25 per person.
Using the Public Schools will take place at 5:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 29. Cost is $15 per person, $25 per couple.
